The answer: In Style!

It has been a VERY BIG YEAR for the Elgin County Railway Museum and their house within the MCRR Locomotive Shops. They are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the shops with a special evening and silent auction.

What: 100th Anniversary Celebration
Where: Elgin County Railway Museum, 225 Wellington Street
When: September 20th, 7-10pm
Cost: $15 single / $25 couple

Enjoy amazing hors d'oeuvres, local beer and wine, live music, special presentations, and more!

On the Menu:
  • Housemade Smoked Salmon with pickled red onion and preserved lemon cream 
  • Lightly pickled beet and local goat cheese phyllo cups, with fresh basil
  • Warm Wild Mushroom Bruscetta with Balsamic and roasted garlic
