July 8th-10th,  we will see our vibrant community come to life, with two fantastic events that pair perfectly together and allow for you to have the ultimate weekend!

Both Ribfest AND Nostalgia Nights are coming up, and you don’t want to miss either.
St. Thomas Ribfest is returning to Pinafore Park for another year of delicious barbecue and great entertainment.

The event runs Friday 4:00-11:00, Saturday 11:00-11:00, and Sunday 11:00-7:00, giving you lots of time to fully enjoy Ribfest.

Ketucky Smokehouse, Boss Hogs, Gator BBQ, and New York BBQ will all be there, serving their absolutely mouth-watering ribs, along with tons of other vendors offering up some delicious food. On top of all-things-tasty, there will also be incredible entertainment, with live performances from musicians in the Pinafore bandshell. There will also be a Kids’ Fun Zone with tons of great activities for young ones, plus a Beer Garden for the older crowd. Admission to the grounds is free, so come out to Ribfest for a guaranteed scrumptious and thrilling day!
Head downtown on Saturday, July 9th for Nostalgia Nights.

  1. Featuring a downtown car show with hundreds of vintage vehicles lining Talbot Street from 4:00-9:00.
  2. Outside of the L&PS Station (Railway City Tourism) will have Art on Track, with displays of amazing local artisan talent.
  3. In the Hepburn Parkette will be a Kids’ Zone, including face painting, balloon artists, and magicians.
  4. Check out the Small Business Enterprise Centre on Mondamin Street from 4:00-8:00 for the Small Business Alley Showcase, or register your business to participate!
  5. From 3:00-7:00 outside of Railway City Tourism, there will be live music from Ukes of Hazzard, Malichi, and John Milles - a.k.a. an amazing line-up!
  6. And the best part: we are providing you with a way to access both events from the other, with a FREE train going to and from downtown and Parkside High School.
THE TRAIN
The train will run on the hour from 3:00-7:00 from the L&PS Station. Riders can get off at Parkside to enjoy Ribfest at nearby Pinafore Park, or those attending Ribfest can board the train at 25-past each hour and head to Nostalgia Nights. Or, just enjoy a free, round-trip, scenic train ride through the Railway City. Seats are limited, so be sure to get your tickets from the Railway City Tourism office! There is also a lovely walking trail along the rail line, which you can follow for about 20 minutes to get from one event to the other.

I've heard that the north side of town received coupons for the rib fest. If this is accurate, will the south side of town also receive them?
