The Hexes and Jinxes outdoor market hosts over 100 spooky & amazingly talented craft and food vendors. This is THE must-attend spooky event of the season. Head down for the ultimate witches Halloween market organized by local business Purely Wicked!

Downtown Pumpkin Prowl

Get ready for the Downtown St. Thomas Pumpkin Prowl! It's time to get out your best costumes and visit the participating Downtown businesses to get delicious treats for all children. Also make sure to have the pumpkin prowl passport ready to collect stamps from the required number of businesses and enter to win Downtown Dollar prize packs!

Pumpkin Carving

Pumpkin carving is truly THE fall family tradition! It is the time to unlock your creepy or cute Halloween artistic talent to showcase on the perfect night! A critical step is to pick out your perfect pumpkin. In St. Thomas we have many amazing local farmers markets with prime pumpkins to execute your vision!

Don't get rid of the pumpkin guts! Re-use the seeds for a delicious fall snack. Here is the perfect recipe.

baked pumpkin seed recipe

​Ingredients: 
  • 3 tablespoons of salted Butter (Use Coconut oil for substitution)
  • 3 cups of dried pumpkin seeds
  • 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon 
  • 4 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 325℉.
  2. Make sure to wash off all pumpkin guts and lay on a baking sheet lined with a paper towel. Allow to dry completely, ~24h, change paper towel at 12 hour mark.  
  3. Begin by combining the dry ingredients in a small bowl.
  4. Melt the butter in a microwave safe dish. Mix in vanilla and add mixture into a large bowl with the pumpkin seeds. Stir. Make sure the seeds are evenly coated with the mixture.
  5. Then, add the dry mixture to the coated pumpkin seeds and stir to coat.
  6. Spread coated pumpkin seeds on lined baking sheet
  7. Bake for 25-35 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until seeds begin to brown.
  8. Enjoy on their own or with yogurt and granola!

clovermead Pumpkin Festival
