​Despite heading into Fall, city-wide events are still in full swing! Over the next month we encourage you to go out and support local businesses and organizations with their exciting initiatives and projects.  Listed below are some great ideas to get out with your family,  friends, enjoy a date night, or even explore these events solo!

​As summer comes to an end, we are reflecting on some of the events and happenings that we experienced over the past couple months. One in particular that was very special to us was the Mural Festival! 

Over the past few years numerous murals have been added to our community through the Track to the Future Mural Project. Over the past couple months, the project has continued and new artists have completed some beautiful works expanding our mural collection in St. Thomas in wonderful ways. The purpose of the mural festival was to get people out and about while immersing themselves in the arts! On that note, we also would like to extend our gratitude to the many local businesses and studios who took part and participated in the event.

As a result of this initiative, we are proud to share that approximately eight new murals have been painted! Check them out below...

Autumn is in the air, and with it the Hexes & Jinxes Mystical Market!

Hosted by Purely Wicked, this eclectic market came onto the scene in 2020 during a time when putting on events was incredibly difficult. Despite the circumstances, the market was a huge success, featuring an incredible array of artisan vendors with top of the line products, from artwork to candles to home décor.

This spooky market will be returning this year with even more vendors selling their very best wares. For those looking to extend their fun in St. Thomas, we've put together some itinerary ideas for you based on your horoscope below!

From April to October, explore Ontario’s heritage treasures at free public events across the province. Satisfy your curiosity and get behind normally closed doors to experience intriguing interiors, where you will be inspired by rare and exceptional materials, craftsmanship and design. From historical houses to modern marvels of construction, Doors Open Ontario has something for everyone - All Free of Charge.

St. Thomas’ Doors Open is coming up Saturday, October 5th from 10am-4pm and will feature some unique sites and activities with a fun “spooky” theme. This includes special activities such as ghost stories from Rail City Theatre on the train, tarot readings by Purely Wicked at Lemons Pharmacy, nighttime star gazing at the Elevated Park, and Capture Paranormal at the L&PS Station.

​Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture. At the end of each September, millions of people attend thousands of participatory arts and culture events across the country. Culture Days programs invite the public to get hands-on and behind-the-scenes to highlight the importance of arts and culture in our communities.
