The Hexes and Jinxes outdoor market hosts over 100 spooky & amazingly talented craft and food vendors. This is THE must-attend spooky event of the season. Head down for the ultimate witches Halloween market organized by local business Purely Wicked!

Downtown Pumpkin Prowl

Paranormal investigations

Join in on this incredible Paranormal Investigation of the St. Thomas Princess Avenue Playhouse! Did you know that theaters are famously known for their haunted reputations?!? The Ontario Paranormal Society and the Princess Avenue Playhouse Theatre are excited to share these paranormal experiences with you. Even better, they invite you to visit and experience this historic gem firsthand while helping to fund the maintenance and preservation of this landmark building.

Did you know that the theater was once a church?! Constructed in 1907 by the Church of Disciples, it still features its original twin towers and stunning stained-glass windows.

Pumpkin Carving

Pumpkin carving is truly THE fall family tradition! It is the time to unlock your creepy or cute Halloween artistic talent to showcase on the perfect night! A critical step is to pick out your perfect pumpkin. In St. Thomas we have many amazing local farmers markets with prime pumpkins to execute your vision!

Don't get rid of the pumpkin guts!! Re-use the seeds for a delicious fall snack! Here is the perfect recipe!

​Ingredients: 
3 tablespoons of salted Butter (Use Coconut oil for substitution)
3 cups of dried pumpkin seeds
2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon 
4 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
½ teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 325℉.
  2. Make sure to wash off all pumpkin guts and lay on a baking sheet lined with a paper towel. Allow to dry completely, ~24h, change paper towel at 12 hour mark.  
  3. Begin by combining the dry ingredients in a small bowl.
  4. Melt the butter in a microwave safe dish. Mix in vanilla and add mixture into a large bowl with the pumpkin seeds. Stir. Make sure the seeds are evenly coated with the mixture.
  5. Then, add the dry mixture to the coated pumpkin seeds and stir to coat.
  6. Spread coated pumpkin seeds on lined baking sheet
  7. Bake for 25-35 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until seeds begin to brown.
  8. Enjoy!

These are delicious snacks on their own! Add it to yogurt or it's a perfect addiction to a fall granola mixture. ​​

Pumpkin Festival

Celebrate the world of pumpkins this fall at Clovermead Adventure Farm for their Pumpkin Festival! 

Enjoy a wagon ride, barrel of fun ride or bee train ride, visit farm animals, get lost in the corn maze, pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, and enjoy the fall decorations and family photo opportunities.
