The Whistlestop Trail is a fully paved 15km multi-use recreational path that seamlessly connects the historic heart of St. Thomas to the beautiful sandy shores of Port Stanley on Lake Erie. Originating right outside our replica L&PS Station and Railway City Tourism office, the trail follows the path of our historic railroad tracks, taking you past vibrant downtown murals, through lush countryside fields, and right down past the Port Stanley Terminal Rail to the Port Stanley harbour.
Whether you prefer to pedal hard on a road bike, enjoy a morning run, or take a leisurely drive between points of interest, this self-guided route is beautifully navigated with informative wayfinding kiosks along the way.
