Summer may have come and gone, and so too has the Santa Claus parade and some other festive activities here in St. Thomas... but that doesn't mean there's nothing festive yet to do in the Railway City. The Do-able Neighbourhood Project has been busy in the North end of St. Thomas! With the help of local firefighters who flood the rink to ensure a quality ice surface, people in St. Thomas are now able to get out those skates and enjoy something notably Canadian - outdoor skating!

Yard Sales, especially ones as large as the Talbot Trail, can be overwhelming. Help yourself out and MAKE A LIST! Keep it on you at all times and you will find sorting through all the goodies much less intimidating. Keep focus and stay organized and you will be amazed at the treasures you come up with.

Blue water as far as the pool stretches, crystal clear and glimmering in the S.W. Ontario sun! Everyone’s favourite outdoor pool is throwing a gala supreme this Saturday as Jaycees Pool launches their grand opening and first public swim of the season. The Saturday, June 28th event will be held from 1-4pm at Jaycees newly renovated facilities located at 93 Inkerman Street. When at the event expect to enjoy free cake courtesy of Spicer’s Baker (delish!), games, and an appearance by Dotsy the clown twisting and tying free balloons from 2-3pm!

German Canadian Club display
Holiday Fantasy of Lights has been lighting up Pinafore Park for over 20 years! Volunteers have been proud to bring some holiday magic to this special park and to St. Thomas residents and visitors. However, many of our volunteers have retired and we are in dire need of an input of enthusiasm and energy to help ensure the Holiday Fantasy of Lights is able to continue.
