GOOD LOVE: PAUL CVETICH

The St. Thomas-Elgin Public Art Centre is pleased to present “Good Love”, an exhibi-tion by Hamilton born artist Paul Cvetich. Paul is probably best known for his Monu-ment to Workers Injured and Killed on the Job, that stands in front of Hamilton’s City Hall. Paul has received his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Guelph, a Hon-ours B.A. in Art and Art History from the McMaster University in Hamilton Ontario.

“All these ideas, all these bits, they spin around, but you know, they all touch. All the bits have to be attached to form a whole, they may be tenuously connected, but they have to be attached, they have to be made whole. That’s all I’m saying, whoever you are, whatever your circumstance, whatever you’ve learned or done, however dispar-ate the bits are, they are all part of some kind of beautiful whole.” Paul Cvetich

This exhibition is a series of geometric and organic painted, wooden shapes that weave together in a manner that is both complex and lighthearted at the same time.

January 4 - February 15
Opening reception January 11, 1-3pm
