Day use & Camping May - October Trails open all year |
The Springwater Conservation Area offers a full service campground, day use facilities, hiking trails, year-round special events, and facility rentals. There is something for everyone to enjoy at the Springwater Conservation Area.
With three main trails to discover covering eight kilometres in length, Springwater is a beautiful and popular forest. Interpretive signage helps hikers understand and appreciate the unique beauties of the forest. Provincial cuts have eliminated all funding to maintain and manage the forest as a safe and enjoyable environment for the public to use. The Catfish Creek Conservation Authority asks for a modest $2.00/person to use the trail system in the Springwater Forest. Catfish Creek Conservation Authority is a registered charitable organization that can issue official tax receipts for minimum donations of $20.00. All funds collected will be invested directly back into the forest to help offset expenses associated with the following costs: Routine Trail Maintenance, Hazard Tree Removal, Insurance, Capital Improvements and Investments, Signage, and Garbage Collection. |
