CASO STATION

Picture
The Canada Southern Railway Station (CASO) is the largest train station of it's kind left in North America. Built in 1873 its heritage has been incredibly well preserved and is a treat to take in.

The building’s grandeur was impressive. The 1882 publication Picturesque Canada reported that the station was “one of the finest in the Dominion, and reminds one of the large structures in Chicago and New York.”

This unique structure today houses a museum, a coffee roaster, offices and an event space with bar that is like stepping back into the bygone days of rail.
