Bike Fest – Is the Bike Best!

Come by Bike! – To the Downtown Bike Festival

On June 7th the Downtown Bike Festival is being held in the L&PS Corridor (that cool new space located adjacent to the Railway City Tourism Office aka the new “train” station on Talbot Street)!

The event starts at 9am and carries on into the afternoon until 1pm with a plethora activities planned for the day! Of those events includes, an adult Trike-a-Thon: picture this, a group of adults... on tricycles... do we need say more?  

If that wasn’t enough to sway your bike handles, there will also be bicycle check-ups offered, a bike decorating station for the youngin’s, and a bicycle parade!  While you are there expect to taste some local food vendors, hear great live music, and see a community coming together to promote an active, healthy lifestyle.  The festival will also feature several local businesses, prizes, and some really cool chalk drawings!
