National Canadian Film Day
A FREE AND FUN EVENT!
April 20, 2016 is National Canadian Film Day, a day to throw off the shackles of fear and insecurity, stand together with Canadians from coast to coast and pat ourselves on the back for something other than various ice-related sports and sports-related doughnut shops. It’s a light-hearted intervention for our national consciousness, a wake-up call to anyone who has not yet been exposed to the great cinematic stories we tell one another in this cold, vast country.
Why have one film day when you can have more?
Reel Fest is the Elgin-St.Thomas edition of the National Canadian Film Day extending from April 20th-24th 2016. This mini film festival features free viewings of unique and engaging Canadian Films. There are films for all movie-goers, from Joshua Jackon's heart-wrenching performance in "One Week" to the hilarious Canadian classic "Strange Brew".
