Who will be performing at the summer night social 2024?
Live music will be performed by The Sheridan Band, a London Music Award-winning acoustic rock group known for their high-energy traditional Celtic folk sound, influenced by their upbringing in an Irish-Canadian family.

This is the perfect band to get everyone excited, dancing, and on their feet, perfectly fitting the Canadian theme of the Summer Night Social 2024!

Does the summer night social serve as a fundraiser for any specific cause or organization, and if so, how does it contribute to the community?

The YWCA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals in need, including women, men, and at-risk youth facing homelessness, newcomers to Canada, and those seeking tools for poverty reduction.

The YWCA’s community services range from swimming lessons and cooking classes to babysitting and stay safe courses, alongside childcare options for local children. Adults can benefit from skills training and career advancement classes. The YWCA actively engages with our community through committee involvement, advocating for poverty interventions, harm reduction, equality, and affordable housing.

Events like Summer Night Social and Women's Day directly fund vital programs, and the YWCA is extremely grateful for everyone's support.
