Word on the street is that a new venue has popped up in St. Thomas and if you’ve driven downtown lately, you know it’s true. The Railway City Big Top is in town! Nestled between the Elgin County Railway Museum and Timken Centre, the Big Top will provide people of all ages with high quality entertainment for the next three months. Here’s what you can expect: Ron James July 22 As an award-winning comedian, Ron James has been selling out venues in Canada for over 15 years with his unique brand of side-splitting, marathon-style, high energy performances. Country Barn Blast July 29 The BX93 Video Dance Party is comprised of three 15 foot video screens playing all the country hits and televising live from the Country Can. All proceeds go to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation. Tickets can be bought at the following locations: The Upper Deck, St. Thomas Boston Pizza, or Yurek Pharmacy. Movie Under The Big Top August 12 All the same fun you enjoyed at Movie in the Park but under the Big Top instead! Featuring Guardians of the Galaxy 2, plus family fun activities, you don't want to miss this free family event. Swiss Dream Circus August 18 - 20 & 25 - 27 Watch the incredible displays of acrobatic, balance, aerial stunts and thrilling acts performed by the cast of the Swiss Dream Circus! Bridges to Better Business October 5 Featuring Vinh Giang: A celebrated speaker who mixes his expertise in business and magic to deliver messages about positive thinking and how individuals react to different situations in life & business. Music’s Greatest Icons Tickets are $20 each or $100 for an all-access six show pass. These are all ages events, and a bar is available for those with valid ID.
The quickest and easiest way to grab your tickets is by visiting the Big Top website. Be sure to print off your tickets and bring them with you the day of the event!
