MEDIA RELEASE - Walking Dead's Vincent Ward Coming to Terminus North This Summer

Vincent Ward, who played Oscar in season three of the Walking Dead, is coming to the St. Thomas Tom Zombie Festival on September 27th to sign autographs and have pictures taken with fans. The announcement was made official Wednesday at noon when the highly anticipated identity of the festival's mystery guest was made known.

Bryan Bakker, Chairperson of the St. Thomas Tom Zombie Festival Organizing Committee said, "Vincent is a terrific fella who is anxious to check out our town. Add to that that we have a very special theme in mind for our festival this year which Vincent fits very nicely into indeed."

Organizers are planning on making the Elgin County Railway Museum into something they call "Terminus North" this year. For those familiar with the current story arc in the cliff-hanger season ender of the Walking Dead, the cast of characters were left in some real trouble at a rail yard called Terminus, a building that has some uncanny similarities to the Railway Museum in St. Thomas.

"We are going to have a lot of fun with this theme this year," said Bakker. "It is going to become a Walking Dead Mecca for those who love the show. Add to that everything else which makes our festival unique, the Tom Zombie Contest itself and its role in keeping St. Thomas safe chief among them, and we are set to have another terrific year."
