First settled in 1810, much of the history of St. Thomas is reflected in its architecture.  From churches and homes through to the city's railway history, the city has protected its historic properties.

St. Thomas' street railway is still evident in the layout of the main drag, Wilson Ave. Follow this street to enter the heart of downtown St. Thomas, or stop and stay awhile in this quiet and family oriented historic neighbourhood.

A hub for the creatives out there, the Art Village is centered around the Public Art Centre where small businesses pop up echoing that creative feel.

An inspiring and relaxed neighbourhood that oozes history and knows what it's all about. One of the oldest neighbourhoods in St. Thomas, the Courthouse Neighbourhood is beautiful all times of year.

Welcome to Ye Olde St. Thomas! This is where Kettle Creek Village settled that would later become the larger city of St. Thomas. ​Steeped in history, this neighbourhood covers almost every area of interest

We pulled together a few different neighbourhoods to bring you Main Street St. Thomas. This is where our local businesses thrive, where you can walk from park to park, enjoy craft beer, the best local dining, and the quirky and creative shops.

railway city central

This is where the identity of St. Thomas as ‘The Railway City’ was truly forged. The CASO Station was built from 1871-1873, one of the most impressive railway buildings in the country, helping to define the area even before St. Thomas became an official city in 1881.
