The Great Trail
St. Thomas is connected to the world’s longest network of recreational trails. Running through the heart of the city, the Trans Canada Trail links iconic local landmarks—including the Elevated Park, Angus McKenzie & the Orchard Park Trail.

Following the overland route constructed in the 1820s under Colonel Thomas Talbot, this historically significant route connects settlers' heritage and scenic road trips along Highway 3 from Windsor to Fort Erie, with St. Thomas located in the middle.
