The 2nd Annual Railway City Arts Crawl is fast approaching, and promises to be bigger and better as we grow this annual event.
This year there are 12 venues lined up, with 32 artists (and more joining every week)!

If you guess SANTA, then you are right! Coming up this weekend is the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony Friday night at City Hall starting at 5:30pm, and Saturday is the Santa Claus Parade starting at 6pm on Talbot Street.
Feeling chilly out there? We will be serving up FREE COFFEE from Harbour Merchant at Railway City Tourism during the parade. It`s delicious, locally roasted and more importantly, warm! We sure hope to see you then :)

DOORS OPEN ST. THOMAS IS RIGHT ON TRACK!
St. Thomas - Every year from May to October, communities across the province open the doors to hundreds of historical buildings, places of worship, museums, private homes, heritage gardens and other interesting venues. Many of the participating sites offer special activities, such as tours, exhibitions and demonstrations – all free of charge!

The Tom Zombie Festival is Set To Keep Our Region Safe for Another Year!
On September 27th there will be a very unique event happening in downtown St. Thomas. On the grounds of the Elgin County Railway Museum the 2nd Annual, St. Thomas Tom Zombie Festival will be held. This event is free to attend, starts at 12:00pm and ends at 10:00pm.
The amount of buzz online is “mind blowing…” according to Bryan Bakker, owner of local video production company, Bizbio and creator and developer behind the event. “The biggest thing of course is the Harlequin sponsored visit of Vincent M. Ward, who played Oscar on the highest rated TV Series going these days, AMC’s The Walking Dead. Vincent will be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans right here in our very own city.”
But there is more than just a cool celebrity visit happening that day of course.
According to Bakker the festival is the only way we can protect our town and region from the Tom Zombie Curse. “The Legend of Tom Zombie goes back over two-hundred years and has plagued South-Western Ontario in innumerable ways ever since,” says Bakker.
